Community Repair

At Community Repair you’ll work one-on-one with a Fixing Factory Fixer to inspect, diagnose, and repair your beloved item. No prior experience is needed, but a curiosity and willingness to learn is essential.

We ask that you stay and work with us for the duration of your repair; we cannot accept items dropped off for repair.

Booking ahead is not required, as we run on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive with plenty of time for your repair - we recommend you allow at least 45 minutes but some repairs can take a few hours and run over multiple sessions.

There is no charge for this service, however donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. To share our skills with as many people as possible we kindly ask that you only bring one item for repair to each session.

Please note that most Fixers are volunteers and availability varies week to week, so while we do try our hardest to accomodate everyone, we unfortunately can’t guarantee a repair for everyone.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer yourself, follow this link.
