Project Night

Every Thursday 18:00-21:00

Come along to flex and expand your fixing skills in a social setting - work on your own projects, tear down end-of-life items to see how they are built, or tackle some of the more meaty ‘unfixables?’

We have a growing range of tools and equipment to tackle electronics and electromechanical repairs

Repair Club - Project Night is run by fixers for other fixers with an ethos of curiosity, mutual support and skill sharing

This is for self-sufficient fixers with solid experience - there’s always a safety and first aid leader present but there are no classes or training on Project Night.

Membership subscription is £15 per month, or £5 for a taster session (we want people to join and be part of a community, as this intended to be a community initiative and not a ‘rent a bench’ service).

Future Fixers

Wednesdays 18:30 - 21:30 & Saturdays 10:00 - 16:00

Future Fixers is our unique in-house volunteering pathway available to regular volunteers, which will take you from beginner to intermediate fixer…and beyond!

Mixing formal training modules with bags of hands-on experience it’s a great way to join the repair revolution.

Joining these sessions is a regular - but rewarding - commitment. There’s opportunities to pick up skills and gain experience beyond repair as we cover electrical safety and testing, data capture, functional testing and a whole range of associated skills that will enable you to be a highly effective repair volunteer, and part of the core crew that drives our Fixing Factory.

Future Fixers was made possible by funding from the Time After Time Fund from Virgin Media O2.

Open Session

This Repair Club session is for everyone interested In gathering around repairs.

No matter your level of skill or experience you’re invited to join this fun and social session - there’ll be tasters of simple repairs, a chance to meet our expert fixers…and cake!

We aim to run these bi-monthly from Spring 2024
