Role overview
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and love keeping things neat and tidy? We’re looking for a volunteer to help manage our inventory at the Fixing Factory in Queen’s Crescent.
Our shelves are packed with tools and electrical items ready to be repaired, refurbished, or sold. By keeping our inventory organised and up-to-date, you’ll help us prioritise repairs and keep waste out of landfill.
Join our team and play a crucial role in making sure everything runs smoothly — all while supporting our mission to reduce waste, empower the community, and protect the planet!
Main Responsibilities
Help maintain and improve our system where we store our repair data.
Liaise with Workshop Manager to make changes to the current system.
Follow all Fixing Factory procedures, including our health, safety and safeguarding procedures and attend any training provided by FF (e.g. first-aid, anti-oppression, etc.).
Play an active role in keeping the Fixing Factory a supportive, inspiring and anti-oppressive place to be
Be a team player - e.g. tea making, skill sharing and washing up
